Automatic Pressure Release corral Gate Latch for Steel Gates

 

  

This is a miniature corral gate, about 3-4’ long. The latch shown is big enough for any gate or squeeze chute.

 

     

 

 

When the spring loaded arm at the top of the gate is moved, the notch expels the rollers.
 Expelling the rollers isn’t pressure release, but if you turned one of the rollers it is pressure release like the tow bar and the gate will open under tremendous pressure.

I don’t have any of these made for sale yet but will take orders. 
The rollers shown are 3/8" and 7/16".

 

The gate below doesn’t have a wand at top to expel the rollers, its just a pressure release latch, for a squeeze chute, where its hard to get the latch released with animals against it.

   

 

As shown here, Figure 5A mounts to the gate and roller views 5B, C, and D mount to the gatepost.
