Cubes may be pure alfalfa, mixes of alfalfa and other grasses, or a combination of these with grains, minerals or other additives to produce a Total Mixed Ration. Cubes are formed by extruding forages through various sized dies. Heartland Feeds standard product is 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 2-3" in length, but other sizes and shapes may be produced for large volume orders.
Cubes may be shipped in bulk (truck or containers); bagged (paper or poly-woven in 20-100lbs); bulk bags "totes" of 1,100 or 1,800lbs.
Heartland Feed cubes are produced from pure alfalfa or other forages, and contain fiber up to 3" in length.
